Written by: Abu Al-Harith Al-Sindi He is Sheikh Habibullah bin Ziarat Wali Khan bin Hazrat Amir Khan bin Amir Muhammad Khan Al Swati, born in the year 1349 AH/1930 AD in the village of “Koza Bandh” (Batgram, Hazara, Pakistan), and resident in “Rawalpindi/Pakistan”.

He studied most of the sciences at Dar al-Ulum (Deoband, India) for five years (1944-1949 AD), and graduated in 1368 AH/1949 AD. He studied the guidance in Hanafi jurisprudence by al-Marghinani from Sheikh Izaz Ali al-Deobandi, Mishkat al-Masabah from Sheikh Mi’raj al-Haqq, Sahih al-Bukhari and Jami’ al-Imam. Al-Tirmidhi On Sheikh al-Islam Hussein Ahmad al-Madani, and that when he was busy with political matters in India, he completed them on Sheikh Fakhr al-Din (both of them were students of Sheikh al-Hind Mahmoud Hassan al-Diobandi), and Explanation of the Meanings of Athar by al-Tahawi on Sheikh Abdul Haq al-Akrawi (founder of Dar al-Ulum al-Haqqaniya, Akura Khattak), and Sahih al-Imam Muslim on the authority of Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim al-Baliyawi, and Sunan of Imam al-Nasa’i on Sheikh Shams al-Haqq al-Afghani, and Sunan of Abu Dawud on Sheikh Fakhr al-Din (on the authority of Sheikh al-Hind Mahmoud Hasan al-Dayobandi), and that when he began studying Sahih al-Bukhari and Jami’ al-Imam al-Tirmidhi, he completed it on Sheikh Abdul Khaliq, and studied Sunan Ibn He narrated it on the authority of Sheikh Uzair, all on the authority of Sheikh Mahmoud Hassan Al-Dayobandi

He died on the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2019 AD/Shaban 22, 1440 AH, at the age of 89 years. His student Sheikh Maulana Azizur Rahman Al Hazarawi prayed over him, and he was buried in the cemetery of his village “Koza Bandh” (Batgram, Hazara, Pakistan). I say: I visited him in his home in the city of Rawalpindi, in the company of the two distinguished brothers, Sheikh Noor Nawaz bin Haqq Nawaz al-Waziristani and Sheikh Muhammad Zubair bin Samiullah al-Qurashi, several times. Then the sheikh invited me to a banquet in his village, and God enabled me to accept his invitation and meet him, so I arrived in the company of brother Muhammad Zubair bin Samiullah Al-Qurashi in his village “Kozh Bandh” (Batgram, Hazara, Pakistan), so we stayed with him for the night and he talked about his conditions and news throughout the night. I read some parts to him.
